Product Description

Ancol Constant Frequency Whistle is an important tool for any serious dog trainer.

This whistle has the same frequency regardless of how hard it is blown.

Whistles are wonderful training tools for dogs for several reasons.

Firstly, whistles can be heard more clearly than the human voice, particularly on windy days. Unlike the human voice, the whistle will not convey panic, frustration or weariness and so sends an unambiguous signal your dog will not struggle to understand.

Trained my spaniel on this for three weeks and he now stops on a dime at 40 yards. What sold me is that the pitch doesn't change no matter how hard I blow, so he never gets confused when I'm out of breath. Solid bit of kit for the price.

The constant frequency is the real win here — I can blow softly or hard and my spaniel gets the exact same tone every time, which finally made recall training click. Took her about a week to link it to treats, now she's on it the second she hears it.
