Ancol Extra Heavy Chain Tan Lead is made with the finest quality European bridle leather for strength.

The lead is chrome-plated welded steel for strength.

Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Leather leads ought not be saturated with water. If the lead becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process. To keep the item in tip-top shape, we recommend treating with a leather conditioner annually.

The leather is thick and feels like it'll outlast my last lead, and the chain gives me real confidence with a dog that pulls. Only gripe is the tan marks up quickly, but that's cosmetic.
