Ancol Heavy Chain Black Lead is made with the finest quality European bridle leather for strength.

The lead is chrome-plated welded steel for strength.

Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Leather leads ought not be saturated with water. If the lead becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process. To keep the item in tip-top shape, we recommend treating with a leather conditioner annually.

The leather handle is surprisingly soft for something attached to such a heavy chain, which makes walks with my strong puller way easier on my hands. The chrome-plated welded links haven't shown a hint of rust after weeks of rainy morning walks. Feels like it'll outlast every lead I've owned.
