Product Description

Ancol Extra Heavy Short Chain Black Lead is made with the finest quality European bridle leather for strength.

The lead is chrome-plated welded steel for strength.

Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Leather leads ought not be saturated with water. If the lead becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process. To keep the item in tip-top shape, we recommend treating with a leather conditioner annually.’

The bridle leather handle has a nice broken-in feel after a couple weeks of walks, and the short length gives me way more control when my dog lunges. That welded steel chain isn't going anywhere either.

The chrome-plated steel chain feels seriously sturdy and the welded links give me confidence it won't snap when my big dog lunges. The European bridle leather handle is thick and comfortable in my hand even on long walks. Only thing is it's on the short side, which actually helps with control.
