I've been using these for cutting bandages and trimming thread, and the tempered steel blades still feel as sharp as day one. The rounded ends are a nice touch since I'm clumsy and always worried about nicking myself.

The rounded tips give me peace of mind when trimming around my dog's face, since she never sits still. The tempered steel feels solid and hasn't dulled at all after a few months of regular use.
