Product Description

Ancol Medium Chain Black Lead is made with the finest quality European bridle leather for strength.

The lead is chrome-plated welded steel for strength.

Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Leather leads ought not be saturated with water. If the lead becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process. To keep the item in tip-top shape, we recommend treating with a leather conditioner annually.

The chrome-plated welded steel chain gives me total peace of mind on walks, since my boy lunges at squirrels and this hasn't bent once. The bridle leather handle has softened up nicely after a couple weeks of daily use.

The leather is genuinely thick and the chrome-plated chain gives me confidence my dog won't snap it on a lunge. Only gripe is it took a couple weeks to soften up, it felt stiff on walks at first. Solid lead now that it's broken in.
