Ancol Heavy Chain Tan Lead is made with the finest quality European bridle leather for strength.

The lead is chrome-plated welded steel for strength.

Please note that leather is a natural, porous product. If the leather becomes wet, some colour run of the natural dye may happen. Leather leads ought not be saturated with water. If the lead becomes saturated, allow it to air-dry naturally and do not use heat to speed the drying process. To keep the item in tip-top shape, we recommend treating with a leather conditioner annually.

The leather feels sturdy and the chain has real weight to it, which gives me confidence on walks with my strong puller. Only gripe is the tan color shows dirt fast, but it wipes clean easily enough.

The tan bridle leather is nice quality and the chrome-plated chain feels solid, but it's heavier than I expected for daily walks with my spaniel. It does the job, just not the most comfortable thing to hold for a long stroll.
